The intent of the AP Statistics curriculum is to offer a modern introduction to statistics that is equal to the best college courses in intellectual content and in its alignment with the contemporary practice of statistics.
The four major topic groupings in the Topic Outline of the AP Statistics Course Description continue to reflect the nature of contemporary statistics.
